Linktotem

Linktotem vs Taplink

Taplink is our closest competitor: a real page builder with a map, a price list and a Portuguese dashboard. The catches are the three-month minimum payment and how much sits behind the Business plan — payments, forms, custom domain and removing their branding. On Linktotem forms and booking are free, and Starter, billed by the month, removes the badge and takes payments.

Choose Taplink if…

  • you want a mature product with a lot of small conveniences;
  • €3 a month paid a year at a time is the number that decides it;
  • you want an interface in Portuguese — theirs comes in both European and Brazilian.

Choose Linktotem if…

  • you don't want to prepay three months to try a paid plan;
  • you want forms and booking on the free plan, and payments and the badge gone for €5 instead of a Business plan;
  • you need opening hours or a real booking calendar — Taplink has neither.

What each one really costs

Taplink's headline prices are €3 and €6 a month, and both are the twelve-month prepaid rate. The list price is €6 for Pro and €12 for Business, and there is no monthly option at all: the shortest term is three months, paid up front. So the real entry cost is €18 for Pro or €36 for Business, not €3 or €6. Their FAQ explains the minimum in their own words.

Linktotem publishes for free, and Starter is €5 a month, cancel whenever, or €50 for a year if you'd rather. If you stop paying, your page stays online on the free plan.

The other thing to count is what sits on Business: taking payments, lead forms, the CRM, removing Taplink's branding and using your own domain. If you need payments or no branding, you're comparing €72 a year against our €50, not €36 against €50 — and lead forms are free on ours.

Where Taplink is better

Like ours, its free plan publishes, and its paid plan is cheaper than ours if you commit to a year. For a page that only needs links, a map and a price list, it's good value.

Its dashboard has been in Portuguese — both kinds — for years, alongside a dozen other languages. We have three.

It's a mature product with a lot of small conveniences, and it reaches Brazil well.

Moving from Taplink

The blocks map across almost one to one, so this is mostly copying text. Do it before your three months run out rather than after you've renewed.

  1. Copy your links, your price list and your map address.
  2. Rebuild the page here from a template for your niche.
  3. Add the things Taplink couldn't do: opening hours that show if you're open now, a booking button.
  4. Move any payment link to your own Stripe account.
  5. Update your social profiles, then let the Taplink term lapse.

Questions

Can I pay Taplink monthly?

No. Three months is the shortest term and it's paid up front — Taplink's own FAQ explains why. The €3 a month you see advertised is the twelve-month rate.

Is Taplink free?

There's a free plan that publishes a page with themes, unlimited links and messaging buttons, carrying Taplink's branding. Payments, forms and a custom domain need the Business plan.

Does Taplink have opening hours?

No. Its block list has a map, a price list, forms, a timer and messaging apps, but no opening-hours block and no booking calendar with times.

Is Taplink in Portuguese?

Yes, and properly: the account area offers Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese, along with a dozen other languages. This is one row where they match us.

Does Taplink take a commission on sales?

No, Taplink takes nothing — only your payment provider does. But accepting payments at all requires the Business plan.

Found a mistake?

We get things wrong, and competitors change their prices without telling us. If a row here doesn't match what you see on their site, write to us with the link and we'll correct the page.
