What each one really costs
Carrd is priced per year and says so itself: $9 for Pro Lite, $19 for Pro Standard, $49 for Pro Plus. That works out around $0.75 to $4 a month, which no paid link-in-bio plan can match, our €5 Starter included.
Two things aren't in the headline. EU buyers pay VAT on top — Carrd's terms quote prices excluding sales tax — and the features people actually want, custom domain, forms, widgets and embeds, start at Pro Standard rather than Pro Lite. Payment forms, if you sell anything, need Pro Plus at $49.
Against that, Linktotem's free plan already gives you a page that knows what a business needs. The fair way to see it: Carrd sells you a canvas, we sell you a finished page you edit.
Where Carrd is better
Price, by a mile. $9 a year for three sites is less than two months of our Starter plan, and it's a genuinely good product at that price.
Design freedom. Carrd is a real builder with positioning, sections and custom CSS: if you want a page that looks like nothing else, you can make one. Our pages look like well-made link-in-bio pages, and that's the point of them.
It's also a different category, and we'd rather say so than pretend we beat it feature for feature. If what you want is a small site, Carrd is the better tool.
Moving from Carrd
People usually move for the opposite reason to price: the page grew into a business page and hand-built blocks stopped being worth the trouble.
- List what your Carrd page does today, including anything you embedded by hand.
- Start from a template here for your niche — most of those embeds become real blocks.
- Rebuild the forms as form blocks, so the answers land in one place instead of an inbox.
- Point your domain here once the Pro plan is on sale, or use your linktotem address meanwhile.
- Keep the Carrd site for anything that's genuinely a website rather than a link in bio.
