What each one really costs
Later's free plan publishes a link-in-bio page with a Later banner across it. To remove the banner you buy Later Social: $25 a month for Starter, $50 for Growth, $110 for Scale, with taxes on top and with seats and social sets metered — extra social sets are $15 a month each, extra users $5.
That $25 is the honest number to compare, but only with the context: it buys a full scheduling suite, of which the link page is a small part. Nobody pays $25 a month for the page alone, and we're not going to present it as though they did.
On Linktotem the page is free, or €5 a month without the badge, and nothing else. If you want scheduling, Later does something we don't do at all.
Where Later is better
It schedules social posts across platforms, analyses them and manages a content calendar for a team. We do none of that, and for a social media manager that's the whole job.
Its free link-in-bio plan publishes, and it links your Instagram grid to the posts' destinations automatically — a genuinely nice trick for creators.
For an agency already living inside Later, having the page in the same tool is worth more than saving €20 a month.
Moving from Later
Most people moving from Later keep Later for scheduling and just take the page out of it.
- Decide whether you're leaving Later entirely or only moving the page.
- Rebuild the page here from a template — buttons, social links and your featured posts.
- Add what the Later page couldn't hold: hours, a map, a menu, a booking button, forms.
- Change the link in your Instagram, TikTok and YouTube profiles.
- If you're staying on Later for scheduling, keep posting there and just point the bio elsewhere.
